I think I have a problem with my bladder. I often go out of my routine to take a leak every 30 minutes or so, and sometimes I’m not drinking or eating anything. In movie houses, there are times when I get the urge to pee during the most important, exciting, and significant part of the movie. It’s irritating actually, but what can I do? When my bladder talks, I’m forced to listen. Is that normal? Do I need to seek medical help? I don’t know but that’s not the point of this entry hehe.
I just discovered the perfect solution to my pee problems, specifically the ones while watching a movie: RunPee.com. What is it? It’s a web-based service and soon-to-be mobile app that helps you enjoy your movie experience and makes sure your bladder gets the attention it needs… at the same time!
In every movie, there are scenes that you can afford to miss. These are the parts that are not very critical to the plot; thus, missing it won’t affect your understanding and appreciation of the movie very much.
RunPee.com pinpoints these scenes by giving you clues like lines and descriptions before the less significant scenes start. You will also see a ‘Pee Time Time line’ so you would know the approximate time to get out of your seat and pee. Actually, you can do anything you like with the stated time. Go buy popcorn, make a phone call, or wash your face… It’s all up to you. But of course, the bladder is boss. Right? Right? Haha
Anyone can contribute in knowing the Pee Times for the movies thus making RunPee a Wiki-PEE-dia haha! I checked out their site. They have famous movies there with Pee Times available already.
Now we see another great innovation. A simple need developed into a great business concept… this is amazing. It may sound simple at first and you may not even think there’s a business opportunity connected to such need but if you go deeper and think in a more wild and crazy manner, why not right? Why not give moviegoers the time when the less significant scenes are flashed? I always wanted to know but I never imagined that it could be answered the RunPee way.
We must therefore remember that in business, no idea is crazy and wild enough. Keep an open mind… keep a wild, crazy, and curious mind!

hahahaha/ you’re weird Mikky! Pero may ibang movie houses na may speaker sa loob ng CR diba. You can still hear it. haha
Me weird? hahaha.. But very interesting info right? :p
mikky, do you drink caffeinated drinks often? that is the NUMBER 1 cause for weak bladders…there’s a term for it…diuretic. I used to have a weak bladder, I had to get up at least twice in the middle of the night for pee. But after I quit caffeine…I can last through the whole night. Try it. Just do 1 simple experiment – drink 1 full glass of water in the morning and nothing thereafter. You should be able to last 1 hour plus before yo feel the urge to pee. Now try drinking half a glass of water and the other half drink coffee. The urge should come after 45 mins or less…some of my friends consulted the doctors and they gave them the same advice. Try it mikky! don’t let weak bladders affect your quality of life!
You used to get up twice in the middle of the night? oh wow.. well I make sure my bladder is all cleaned up before I go to sleep. But there are times still when I wake up just to pee. Thank you for your advice my friend! I’m no coffee addict but I drink coffee. Maybe I need to drink less coffee. It’s becoming quite irritating already, it’s such a hassle having to pee so often especially when I got work to do, if I’m already about to sleep and if I’m already sleeping! I won’t let weak bladders affect the quality of my life! haha
